Fireproof

Nico and I watched fireproof today. We both cried so much. What a powerful movie! While I was watching I was thinking that I don't think Nico and I will ever reach that stage of it being very close to over. We both have strong conviction about divorce not being an option. Having said that, friends of ours from church who probably had the same convictions going in to marriage are on the brink of seperating. It came as such a shock. The truth is that sometimes things drive us over the edge, life happens. But as the song says "It's a slow fade". I am convinced that if Nico and I keep living 100% for God it will not happen. It is as we let bad things creep into our lives and let them stay there, that our marriage will be in danger. Scary but true. I can't do this without God.
